Do you live outside of our service area? Dogman ATL is here and happy to assist with your pet care needs. Those that live outside our service area will be subject to an additional travel fees that will vary depending on distance.

We are currently at capacity but you are invited to join our waitlist. As we start to accept new clients again we will contact you. We require proof of current rabies vaccination prior to working with any pet.
When you are contacted from the waitlist, we will require proof of rabies vaccination for you to be considered. We will then schedule a "first house call" and a $35 non refundable fee will be owed (credited to your 1st appointment.) During this visit, we will meet your pets to assess them, their surroundings & routines
We accept credit/debit card payments only as we always require services to be prepaid by 5:00 PM the day prior to service. We will not honor appointments with an open invoice.
We are typically booked 2 weeks to a month in advance. We recommend planning ahead and booking multiple services as you need in advance.
We operate off of time blocks, this means we can arrive at the beginning or end time of the requested time block. This allows us to account for weather, traffic, appointments that run over, etc. Our time blocks for grooming are 1 hour and dog walking/pet sitting are a 2 hour time block.
Grooming is unique and the length of time can vary greatly for different sized dogs, condition of coat and your dog over all. Many factors can affect the time it takes and we cannot offer definitive times. On average, smaller dogs take approximately 2 hours while larger dogs are about 4 hours to complete. (Per dog)
While walking dogs we use our own leash and will not use yours. We also require all dogs to have a harness that securely fits to your dogs body.
Once you have a profile, any requests can be made from the schedule section. Once we receive your request, it is saved and processed in order. If we reach out to you to adjust the date or time you requested and do not hear back within a reasonable time we will move on to book the next client.
We typically recommend your dog be groomed no more than 5 weeks apart as going longer can incur additional fees due to matting, excessive coat or dirt. Going longer than 5 weeks apart is also generally unhealthy and can lead to potential health issues.
We will not provide grooming services after a recent surgery without written approval from your vet. We also will not provide service if your dog is clearly experiencing any form of medical event. If you booked a dog walk services can still be offered however, we will convert the appointment to a drop in and may require additional visits depending on the specifics of each situation.
No. It is important that your dog receives a minimum of 2 visits per day while you are gone. Dogs can become anxious while you are away. By allowing us to give your dog the proper attention, we help them to stay relaxed and enjoy the comfort of home.
We require a separate space from others in the house while we are grooming. We work with razor sharp tools and knocking on the doors to the room we are working in, attempting conversation with us, or giving your dog commands or anything else that is distracting to your dog has potential to cause injury and lead to future services not being offered and/or cancelled.
We only need you to be home at the beginning time of your first house call visit. This allows us to go over your pets needs in person and take any house keys you would like to leave with us. If you choose to not give us keys that we will securely store in our office, you will need to be home for every grooming appointment and we will not be able to offer any pet sitting services. If you choose to give us a set of keys after the first house call you, will be invoiced a $35 key pickup/drop off fee . This can be avoided by providing the keys while we are already visiting your pet at that moment.
Depending on your preference, you can add a tip when you pay your invoice. Otherwise, you can log into your profile and add a tip to an already paid invoice. Cash is always welcome as well.
